THE KURDISH ASSOCIATIONS THAT ARE AFFILIATED TO FED-BIR:

FED-BIR acts as the umbrella organisation to the other following three Kurdish associations; 

• HALKEVI (MALAGEL)  Founded in 1984
• KURDISH COMMUNITY CENTRE Founded in 1988
• KURDISH INITIATIVE IN SCOTLAND Founded in 2004

1. FED-BIR does not interfere with the internal affairs of the member organisations.  The member organisations are autonomous in their conduct or activities.
2. FED-BIR supports and supervises the control of the member organisations accounts, their income and expenditure.
3. FED-BIR contributes to various social, cultural and political activities organised and planned by the member organisations.
4. FED-BIR collects monthly social and financial reports from the member organisations. Based on these reports it will try to provide solutions to the identified needs.
