Having ignored the Kurdish ceasefire for over a year, Turkey is now conducting a major cross-border invasion into south Kurdistan (Northern Iraq). Make no mistake this pre-planned operation is aimed at Kurds everywhere. Turkey must be told to pull back from the brink of war even at this late hour. They can never solve the Kurdish problem by military means. Only dialogue and negotiation will bring the lasting peace that Kurds and Turks are crying out for. We are demonstrating today to show that Kurds want peace and an end to the violence.
